This week is a cooldown from the adrenaline-filled weekend at strength in depth. Well its not exactly a cooldown, but compared to the emotional rollercoaster at strength in depth, its rest week.
You’ve had Monday and I hope you all enjoyed it, the rest of the week is still full of goodies in the form of lifting heavy barbells and other odd objects.
The pull-up work is still to start and it seemed to go quite well so we will keep this kind of format in if the cycle pays off. The workout requires a bit of maths and working in pairs. One person is rowing and the other is performing a kettlebell complex. You need to work hard on both and it will be apparent why when the wod comes up.
Same strength format as before shoulder press, Clean and Jerk emom, C&J complex then a workout by the name of thruster fuck. Il let your imagination take over here.
The day begins with a baseline test of rowing and light bodyweight movements. This should take under 15 minutes so to finish you off we have a shit load of tabata, 20 work and 10 rest.
Some of you missed the pleasantries of breathing squats, well there still here so don’t worry yourself. You basically force your body into becoming stronger. To finish off the week you are doing OGAR. 14 minutes of snatch muscle ups and wall balls. Yummy!
