So, the main emphasis of this week is to give your body and mind some much-needed rest and to allow you some time to sharpen your saw. Each day will begin with some time to practice technique and a specific barbell lift apart from Thursday which is all about the gymnastics
Back squat is the first entre to be placed upon the feast of fitness. As on the last de-load week you can do what you want and there are some suggestions in the Sugarwod description. I’ve also attached a video that you may care to watch about squatting technique. The workout is a Tabata, it shouldn’t be too hard but we don’t want it to be this week, its just about moving and taking a step back. If there is some time left in class, do whatever the f=3k you want.
You will all be munching on some snatch for the starters of the second day of the week. Same as the back squat, do as you wish and work on any technical difficulties you may have. Then you will be doing VIOLA, a 20-minute amrap of 400m run, light power cleans and power snatches with a couple pull-ups thrown in, well, 17.
Clean and jerk tekkers or go heavy, I'm saying no more. After is a chipper with some heavy clean and jerk with burpee bar hops in just to add some spice to your life, looks good.
A slight change in the fact that the technical piece will be gymnastic based. The sweaty section is a girl that rhymes with welly………….
Front squat, once again, I say no more. You have two workouts after though. One girl rhymes with nan then she brought along her little test tube sister to just finish you off.
Brief but to the point. Enjoy this week, its why we do it.
